The Attic Sleepers | Airport

My first post from a band that contacted me (I know, ME) and it’s a beauty. The Attic Sleepers are a Danish duo hailing from Copenhagen and released their debut EP “Lanquin” yesterday. EP’s are so underrated and it’s almost a shame that they aren’t pursued by artists more often. There’s something incredibly intimate about a 5 track list that doesn’t require the time to get to know a traditional LP.

Although something uncanny does play through their work, it doesn’t ever mimic. Instead The Attic Sleepers have found themselves a beautiful little nook in which to create ephemeral soundscapes with intricate guitar playing that I could only wish to produce on my now bruised axe of my own. Inspired by Central American road trips this EP isn’t really worth missing out on. I don’t sleep in an attic but this hits the spot regardless.

As a special treat here is a fantastic live cut that is sublime.
