The Night Café | Felicity

Well, this is a bit nice isn’t it? If, like me, you’re attempting to get geared up for a weekend of fun and games with pre-arranged commitments when all you want to do is sit in bed and draw then this might just be the track for you. As Night Café return ahead of their second EP, Felicity is the first track dropped and it’s a tune for the weekends filled with boozy romance and regret.

Starting with feedbacking loops of guitars and high picked riffs, Felicity plays with dark musical tones in combination with the anthemic choruses that contemporary indie music is so good at providing. Felicity is a track packed with the ingredients that made us all fall in love with indie music. Self-aware candid honesty, punchy guitars and an atmosphere that’s solidified within the first 5 seconds.

Signalling the Liverpool outfit’s return ahead of their second EP. Felicity is a track for the weekend as we all chase those elusive connections in bars stained red with drunken epithets. The new EP will be released 6th of October via Kobalt.
